Legends of Boxing 2 (2024)

LOB2 is a solitaire-oriented boxing simulation using dice and charts. It is an evolution of the 20-year old Legends of Boxing with new development inspired by other Stone Mountain Press games, such as Stone Cold Hockey and Dice United 2nd Edition. LOB2 has also been balanced based on data from LOB for Windows. More depth has been achieved with the new High Action chart, which activates certain ratings in interesting ways, bringing more twists and turns to the action. Game play has been streamlined. Twenty heavyweights have revised ratings, including new versions of Ali in the 70s, and Foreman in the 90s. Fighters are now presented in a quality, magazine-style catalogue, including a section describing why the fighter is rated a certain way in the context of the game. NOTE: LOB2 is completely backwards compatible with 1st Edition fighter cards, with the exception of three fighters who have Mode Cost Traits (Locche, Padilla, and Hamed). —description from the designer
